At TerraCycle Regulated Waste, LLC (TCRW) and Complete Recycling Solutions, LLC (CRS), our mission is to provide innovative industrial recycling solutions for universal waste and hundreds of other hard-to-recycle waste streams to serve our clients and contribute to TerraCycle’s mission of Eliminating the Idea of Waste(R).

Our History

TerraCycle Regulated Waste began in 1978 in the Chicago metropolitan area under the name AirCycle. Recognizing the need for efficient and responsible disposal of spent fluorescent lamps, we introduced the Model 55 VRS Bulb Eater® in 1999, a groundbreaking solution that revolutionized lamp recycling. Over the years, we expanded our services to include the recycling of lamps, batteries, ballasts, and electronic waste, serving thousands of facilities nationwide.

Complete Recycling Solutions was established in 2002, focusing on recycling lighting and electronic waste. With our R2 certified facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, and a satellite collection facility in Somerset, NJ, we provide exceptional service and comprehensive recycling solutions for hard-to-recycle waste streams. 

Our Services

As a combined entity, we offer a wide range of recycling services (all with certificates of recycling), including:

  • Fluorescent Lamp Recycling: Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to disassemble various lamp types into reusable components.
  • Battery and Ballast Recycling: Safe and compliant recycling of all types of batteries and lighting ballasts.
  • Electronic Waste Recycling: R2 certified recycling of electronics, including secure data destruction with our hard drive shredder.
  • Mercury Device Recycling: Specialized equipment for the distillation and safe handling of mercury-bearing devices.
  • PPE and Aerosol Recycling: Innovative solutions for recycling personal protection equipment (PPE) and aerosol products.
  • Logistics and Pick-Up Services: A fleet of trucks and trailers equipped with power lift gates, providing prompt and reliable service in the Northeastern and Mid-Western US and nationwide.
